So, after two nights in Prague, we continued on our (epic) journey to Oktoberfest. Via Loket, Czech Republic, of course! Loket (elbow, in Czech) is a little town in western Bohemia, in an area know for spas and castles and beautiful countryside in general. Sudetenland. Very sought after..
We stayed at an inn that also brews it own beer. I highly recommend this game plan.
The castle looks out over the town and over the elbow (get it?) in the river below -- it's all very storybook. There are even goats living under the bridge. (Are you kidding, Loket?)
