Cub Scout fall outing

JR and I attended the Green Mountain Councils's "Haunted Harvest Fest" yesterday at Camp Sunrise and camped there overnight. Weather was beautiful and this was one happy Cub Scout to be wearing his uniform for the first time. Thanks to Mama for sewing on all those patches. They all stayed on!!

JR minus two front teeth

JR went to the dentist today and she extracted his two lower front teeth. He's looking forward to a visit from the tooth fairy tonight.

Weekend fun

Nothing special planned, but Sat, Sun, Mon were some quality time.. Red Ryder BB gun and pool on Sat (no one shot their eye out..), Shelburne Museum and pool on Sun, and some sweet lego building with the boys today. I'm liking this guard schedule.

Mother's Day 2017

With two boys, no Mother's Day cake would be complete without a batgirl lego figurine!

Pinewood Derby

JR participated in first Pinewood Derby today. We had a good time designing and building this super sweet car. The flames definitely made in run faster!

Snow days

Two snow days in Vermont yesterday and today. 32" total over 32 hours. The boys enjoyed it although they had trouble getting up when they fell in the middle of it. Millie got into the act and surprised us with her romping around yesterday when it was a foot deep. Less romping when it was over her head today!
