We took a much-needed five day vacation in Wales this week. Beautiful country. As we overhead someone say, "God was having a bloody good day when he created Wales."

Warwick Castle

A real live trebuchet!

Went to our first castle about a month ago during the four day weekend around 4th of July. Warwick Castle was pretty impressive with a full sized trebuchet, long bow demonstration and even a falconry exhibition.

Crabby

So we went to the Welsh seaside today at low tide and caught some crabs. Strictly for sport.. Joey was brave enough (sort of) to hold one. Got a good picture of me and the boys too.

B-17 ride

Yesterday I had a really special experience. I got to fly on a B-17, the same type of bomber my Grandpa, Al Uriwal, flew on as a navigator during World War II. I was even able to share the experience with him via FaceTime. It was a once in a lifetime experience and it reminded me again how much we owe his generation.

Guess who just lost a tooth this week? And Joey's happy to be hanging with his dad and big brother.

Grand Prix

Had a great weekend in Montreal with these two guys. JR enjoyed the race and the adventure with his dad and great-uncle Jim. We both enjoyed seeing him enjoy the experience so much. Big thumbs up.
